Some things to know:

Hello!! My name is Rachel. I’m 27 years old and live in Atlanta, Georgia with my husband and corgi, Gus. I’m a full-time nanny who utilizes nap times for reading. I love exploring, traveling, dancing at all times, music, making playlists, cooking/mostly eating, fitness, gaming, and margaritas on margaritas. I would describe myself as silly, passionate, idealistic, clumsy, and honest.

On reading:

Some of my earliest childhood memories involved my parents reading to me every night. I was consumed by them. I looked forward to new stories and my heart swelled when I reread old favorites countless times. And then I was introduced to the magic that is a library. Ever since those days, I’ve drunk up words like water. It’s quenched the thirst of my very SOUL. That’s some *real* serious stuff, y’all. Without trying to be overly poetic, reading is essential. Words, books, ideas, entire worlds created from them–they mean everything to me. They’ve shaped and molded me. And I want to share these feelings with you all! So, this is the space where I’ll write about this very important soul-stuff. Reviews, raves, rants, recommendations, etc. With as much alliteration as you can tolerate!

My tastes in books are ever-changing, but I love science fiction, fantasy, fairytales, adult fiction, classics, young adult, contemporary, and suspense/mystery. I’ll recommend books to you if can do the same for me 🙂 If you have any questions, please send a message! I’m always down to make a new friend.
